TWELFTH & BROWN is rooted in family and innovation. Family is at our core. Innovation is our calling. Jacob Rehm moved to America from Germany as a young boy in 1840. He began his own business in 1865, Jacob Rehm & Co. Brewery on the corner of Twelfth & Brown in Chicago. He was a visionary in Chicago, a business man and one of the leading forces that secured the charter for Lincoln Park to be created. Our family made their home in the Midwest ever since. Jacob Rehm was self made in America. His courage, his persistence, his legacy - is the inspiration for this store.
